| whats your favorite 450 racer? I am planning on selling my outlaw within the next year and getting a 450 to mod all out. I was looking at the Canam 450 but i heard a lot of problems with them breaking down. The honda is boring stock but awesome when super modded. YFZ is to track ready for me and not enough trail. I am planning on going trail riding and some big jumps with it. What you guys think is best? | |

| well a few of my buddies have the yfz, and the one barely rides his, and the other rides gravel pits and used to go to hatfield mcoy trails with it, but it needs a rebuild and he now has a 700 cat. id say get the yfz and make some adjustments. cant go wrong with can am either. if i get ahead with payments and pay one of my things off, i may look into buying your 500, depending on price and feasibility. | |

| I was looking at both the Can-am 450 and outlaw this summer. The can-am 450 is super light but the machine is not reliable at all. I chose the outlaw because of the IRS it is sooo smooth in the trail and soaks up landing on jumps. Only turn off is the extra weight. I could have got a used stock 2008 525, but instead i chose a new 2007 outlaw 500 with pure polaris dual exhaust, nerfs, hand gaurds, grab bar, and some more little stuff. I got a great deal on it, it really is an awesome machine and has more power then a stock 525 and stock 450. | |

| How does that IRS handle? I haven't personnally checked them out but they seem sweet. Any can am is a good one, from what I hear. I will be looking for a 800 max in a year or so.
I like my '05 TRX450R, just need more seat time. | |

| The ds450 falls apart a lot, and the irs is awesome. When coming out of corners you can launch out of it faster and going through ruts is simple even at high speeds. Its also really wide, and the stock shocks are eather fox podiums or rydefx (depending on year). I was also looking at the 700xx, I don't like how it feels. The seat feels to narrow. | |

| The LTR is definetly at the top of my favorite 450 list. It has an awesome wide stance, some argue its to wide for most trails, but I think it would be fine unless your racing XC. My outlaw is 50 inches wide, and I can get through every trail no problem. How wide is the LTR? How is the Fuel Injection too? | |

| well if your shocks are rebuildable it's best that you atleast get your oil changed once in a while it's just like car oil it's starts to get black and dirty and they start not to work as well as they should then they can blow seals and stuff and it just cost more in the long run | |
