Helmet Cams

Any one have one? I have been looking at the GO PRO Motorsports Hero Wide.

i dont have one but if you get one let me know how well it works

i was thinking about getting one too. I have a camcorder I could put on my front rack, but helmet cams are just so much cooler. let me know what kind you get

nick I have a buddy that was going to try the rack mounted vid cam but hasn't yet. He is looking for a helmet cam too now.

let me borrow ur quad bud so i can try the cam on the rack.. and ill let ya knwo how she flys over jumps lol seeing how i dont have a rack and cant ride with one hand when i need to shift

They do make those waterproof cases for cameras and such... but then you are back to the subject of spending coin

Yah I know it costs a little jing but one would be cool.

if u really want the view of it but dont wanna spend the money get the smallest camcorder u can and ducktape it to ur helmet why u ride..

My friend has one, I'll ask him what brand it is.

It seems to work pretty good, it will only hold a few hours and then you have to dump it into a computer. Its cool when he is out on the track but it's not practical for an all day ride.

The go pro uses mem cards if I remember and as long as you pack those and some batteries you can get some extra time. I was gonna take it along and just use it on the hairy sections.

I just sent out some vendor requests. Some of the vendors are local to and sell the cameras. Just a heads up for any one wanting to buy one
