There is a synthetic wax called turtle wax ice that I use on all the plastics on my truck and it seems to work well.. I will give it a shot on the quad and let you guys know.. I think the biggest thing to keep it clean would be to use a wax to fill the pores in the plastic so dirt and mud dont fill them and stick..
